Son La with the mountain system encircling the basin, plateaus, Arabica coffee (tea coffee) is planted on the slopes of the foot of the low mountain range or on the hills with the height of 600m – 1200m . Located at 210 to 220 north latitudes, the Son La Coffee region is similar in location to Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo of Brazil.

Son La’s climate is hot and rainy in the summer, cold and dry in winter. Coffee trees here grow green well for high quality.

Son La is the second largest Arabica coffee growing province of Vietnam, only after Lam Dong.

The highest value Arabica coffee tree in Vietnam and the same quality as the world’s best coffee. Caffeine content in coffee beans ranges from 1-2%.

USING WET PROCESSING METHOD: AFTER PICKING COFFEE, IT IS NECESSARY TO SELECT THE PARTICULAR TYPE OF GREEN FRUIT, DRIED FRUIT, REMOVE THE LEAVES AND DIRTS … THE RIPE COFFEE FRUIT IS PUT INTO A FRESH RUBBING MACHINE TO SEPARATE THE PODS. THE COFFEE BEAN HAS PEELED THE PODS, AND THE RICE HUSK IS CALLED THE PARCHMENT COFFEE. THE PADDY COFFEE MUST REMOVE THE VISCOUS LAYER OUTSIDE THE RICE HUSK. IT IS THE SOAKING AND WASHING STAGE. THEREFORE, THIS METHOD IS CALLED L WET PROCESSING AND COFFEE PROCESSING UNDER THIS METHOD “WASHING COFFEE”. THE PADDY  COFFEE REMOVES THE OUTER VISCOUS LAYER AND IS CLEANED WITH WET PADDY COFFEE.

This coffee is dried or dried in the sun, has a moisture content of less than 10 – 12% called dry paddy coffee.

If fresh coffee is the raw material (input) of wet processing, dry paddy coffee is the output of this process. Dried parchment coffee through the process of dry grinding, removing rice husks, polishing (removing the silk shell sticking outside the coffee bean) will obtain green coffee. Sorted coffee becomes a commercial coffee for trade.
