How to distinguish REAL coffee and FAKE coffee

Today there are many poor quality coffee on the market, directly affecting reputable coffee producers, and especially consumer health. Following Duong Cafe only small tips to distinguish real coffee, fake coffee.

How to distinguish pure coffee in granular form:

Pure coffee beans after roasting will not feel greasy and sticky, natural aroma, mild.

If the roasting process uses additives, coffee beans that are doped after being touched will find greasy, sticky (signs of butter, cooking oil …), a strong odor with butter flavor …

How to distinguish pure coffee in powder form:

Pure coffee powder is very light, smooth, loose and loose. The pure coffee powder has a low specific gravity, so it tends to float up when put into water, and the grains of other grain grains will sink faster.

When roasting to the appropriate temperature and time, the coffee powder is dark brown (if the coffee beans are roasted yet to the temperature and the first burst time, the powder has a yellow color with sour taste, and a strong odor).

Popcorn seeds to padded into coffee are usually dark black. So in the profession of making coffee, people simply call popcorn is color.

Soybean seeds roasted and grinded into a dark brown powder, opaque yellow, completely unlike the dark brown color of coffee powder. If you see the powder in a bag containing yellowish brown, the volume is small, but holding and feeling heavily hand  so that is a high percentage of beans in coffee.

How to distinguish pure coffee when brewed:

When you make boiling water of 100 degrees C into a pure coffee container, instant coffee flour will swell, bubbling, even spill out of the filter.

Coffee powder has impurities when it comes to hot water: You make boiling water and see that the flour does not swell up, but flatten, crouch down and smell the aroma spreading so strongly, you know that there is very little in the phin the coffee. Because cornstarch, roasted bean flour when it comes to boiling water becomes flexible, sticky and flatting down.

Distinguish based on coffee water characteristics:

Coffee brown water color: A pure and healthy cup of coffee is always brown from cockroach to dark brown, when put in, it will be amber brown, a clear, charming brown.

To put it out the sun, look at the iced coffee-colored coffee.

THE WATER COLOR TURN TO BLACK WHEN IMPURITIES ARE PRESENT: IN CONTRAST TO THE TYPICAL BROWN COLOR OF COFFEE, WHEN THERE ARE IMPURITIES, DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF IMPURITIES WILL BE MORE OR LESS THE COLOR WILL HAVE THE SAME CHANGE. WITH A CUP OF BLACK AND BLACK COFFEE, OPAQUE BLACK, THIS IS MOSTLY THE COLOR OF PEA, POPCORN.

Distinguish based on the waving of coffee cup:

When brewing, water of pure coffee cup has almost negligible waving. Contrary to the water of popcorn or roasted bean flour, which contains a lot of starch, it is very waving, very special candy, even waving flexible.

Some consumers still confuse and think that the cup of coffee is good, the water in the cup of coffee must be candy, stick on the glass and the stone in the cup of coffee must be brown due to the parallel and easy-going coffee. cling to the stone. But that is the evidence that in that cup of coffee only very little coffee but whole roasted soybeans. Roasted soybeans that contain a lot of starch are obviously very “embrace ice”. Authentic coffee does not waving and does not “embrace ice”.

The characteristic aroma of pure coffee:

Many types of coffee powder are flavored. The true and original aroma of coffee is not strong … If you are familiar with the smell of pure coffee, you will discover the chemical smell, but it is quite similar to coffee but still fake, still has a strong flavor, although strong, persistent but crude and feeling heavy, unlike the high bar of authentic coffee beans …

FOAM FROM A CUP OF COFFEE “NOT REAL”: IF THE FOAM IS THIN, HAS A RAINBOW COLOR, HIT THE WHOLE GLASS AND FOR A LONG TIME IT LOOKS LIKE THE COFFEE SEEMS PRETTY, IT IS DEFINITELY ARTIFICIAL FOAM. TYPICAL COFFEE FOAM IS QUITE UNIFORM IN SIZE, MORE OPAQUE AND LOOKS “THICKER”, BUT FALLS FASTER.
